on another note....i made my first sketch evah for a bonus challenge at the on-going UA contest! i so surprised myself. lol
that is what i am right now. i signed up for this month long contest over at Urban Anthology and this is the product of the first challenge. :)
with the weather changing i've been away from my computer and scrapping supplies. i've actually had a few scrap gatherings at my house recently and i am loving it! i managed to get one uploaded today...
also, i didn't get a chance to brag here on my NEWEST nephew, Jack, whom was born on March 14th. i loved playing with this photo...
before i go...over at Scrapperie they offer a blog prompt daily and today they suggested blogging about 10 random things about me so here goes...
1. at 35 my grey hair is really starting to show. :(
2. i love my hubby very much but with his lay off going on two months i'm going to pull the rest of my hair out! lol
3. i am excited as both of my boys will be playing soccer soon...my youngest is 4 and this is his first season!
4. i can't stay consecutive with excercising when i have my equipment right infront of me daily. :(
5. i wish i had more creative motivation lately it's been missing.
6. my son wants to go to the movies with his "girl friend" and i'm nevous about it!
7. i've been narrowing down car choices and i realize i do NOT like blue, green, silver or goldish color vehicles! lol
8. i am trying to figure out a useful way to organize my bathroom cabinet so it's totally functionable...i might take pics and get suggestions soon.
9. my scrap desk has about a dozen NON-scrappy things on it at this moment.
10. i am going to bake banana bread this evening.

not good ones either. :( germs are here...everyone is sick to some degree. so far i'm just feeling blah but i know it's coming. sigh...
just this set me back $30 bucks at the store! uugghhh!
on a scrappier note....

i was able to scrap this past weekend with my bff and was actually able to get SOMETHING done considering we chat like crazy. :)
...and rearranged...and purged. this is what i ended up with so far. a new leaner scrap space. over the years i have down-sized my scrap room/area maybe a half dozen times. started out with a huge office style setting taking up the whole rec room we had in our house. as time went by i got a little lonely and realized i could be more creative when i had my family around. so i kept moving furniture back into my scrap area...made a tv room for the kiddos to watch tv while i scrapped. fast forward to today.....i've managed to get down to a corner in the room and have comfortable seating for family and friends to hang. i still have a folding table that i put up on occasion when someone comes to scrap or i really feel the creative juices flowing. i like my new space. hubby made the desk part and the upper shelf and attached them to the two cabinets i picked up at an auction a couple years ago. i can work on a page if i just move my keyboard but no extra room to make OR leave a mess. lol
so far i have done well with organizing to keep things within easy access. some day i would love to have one huge armoire that everything could be enclosed but at reach (yes i can dream!). :)
if i get a change i might label and describe where everything is...sometime...someday. maybe. lol
sheesh...i've been blog slacking. lol spring break came and went fast for the kiddos. we were able to get away for a few days. our trip to the Indianapolis' Children's Museum was total fun! the kiddos also loved staying in a hotel w/pool. you can see more pics of the trip by clicking on the photo album off to the left.
i've also been scrapping often....which feels GREAT!
