flu.

i have it. my daughter has it. my baby has it. my son is getting it today. somehow hubby hasn't gotten it YET! i guess that is a good thing considering it made him able to go on a late night grocery trip for 7up and soup. i don't remember being so violently sick before. it's day 3 and my body aches and i haven't eaten much of anything. it's even harder trying to care for a 1 1/2 year old while i'm sick. hubby helps when he is home. i missed applying for a dt i wanted to try for but i guess this is a sign. lol (well, it sounded good anyway. tee hee) i can't sit up very long so i will keep this short. i don't wish this flu on anyone. stay healthy!

Josh is a wonderful father, great provider, understanding and supportive companion. He takes time out to share those little moments with his family. We are TRULY lucky to have him! Enjoy your "father" figure this weekend...and every chance you get. {hugs}

Design Team desires...

Well with a busy start of summer with my children beckoning my constant attention I have had to put my artistic wants on the back burner. I'm trying to split myself in two for a bit so I can focus on a couple design teams I would love to be on. I will not speak too much about them for fear of jinxing myself. hehe

This is my father. I've been lucky enough to have a close relationship with him and we communicate daily. I couldn't imagine not having my father in my everyday life. I know not everyone is as lucky. He works on the railroad. He enjoys his motorcycle but would rather be out boating and fishing. He has owned an auto sales business in the past and is an awsome mechanic (what a perk, free labor)! He loves to joke and visit with his kids and grandkids. He's not thrilled about getting older...but then again, who is?!? I truly love him.

Graduating...

My baby sister graduated from high school yesterday! I'm super proud of her and can't wait to see what she does with her life.

On a scrappy note: I did scrap some last night and hope to have a layout finished and uploaded in a day or two. I need more scrappy time...help! lol

Cherished Moment.

I had the opportunity to meet this wonderful lady in April of this year. We instantly connected and chatted like we've known one another forever! I helped her the other day and she made a layout JUST FOR ME! I'm extremely excited because I LOVE HER WORK! Please check her blog out and be inspired...thanks a million, Robyn!

Ever have those layouts that you think you are done with but then you look again and there is definately something missing?!? Well, I have a few of those laying around here. Very frustrating. How about you?
