a rainy day...

Hi! Just a quick entry...nothing note worthy really going on right now. I did enter a March photo contest at www.lildavisdesigns.com website and if you would like to vote (doesn't hurt or call for registering) I would appreciate it. I have 4 of my fave photos from this week. Check them out at any rate. Have a scrappy day! *smiles*

Vacation

Well, I should define it more as a "mini" vacation. Next week we are heading to Cave City, KY. They have a dinosaur park there and my 10 year old daughter has had this dinosaur facination for as long as I can remember. We intend to check out a cave or two while there also. From there we will head toward Columbus, OH. to stop in and visit my bro/sister-inlaw. They purchased their first home there and are excited to have company since they are far from family and friends. Yep, thats about it. Nothing big this year, we have so many home improvements we want to do this year which means 'breaking the bank'. Depending on how the year goes will see if we get another "mini" in there or not. Such is life, I'm happy though.

oh..... Happy Spring!!!

walmart find!!!

these foam alphas are 5x5.5"s and are great for either inpiration decor in your scrap space or for putting painted monograms on your pages! I'm after other letters but I must scout out other WM's for all the aphas needed.

creative mess?

I guess that is what I have. I have been over-hauling my scrap room and I stopped to start a page that just came to me. lol I haven't finished but I guess the moving and shuffling of my supplies gave me inspiration. At any rate, I will take it. I have some DT assignments due to my lss and I've been dragging my feet, not on purpose but due to creative block. I hope that passes soon.

On another note, my sister and her daughter (my first and only niece) are arriving here in the next few hours. Long story short, she moved away last fall to try to start her life over in Nabraska (friend moved there, she followed). Realizing she wasn't meant to be so far away she finally decided to come home. I can't wait to see my niece! she was only a few months old when they left. I have some 'catching up' to do. Photographs will come shortly... *giggle*

just checkin' in...

I think the flu bug is gone. Thanks Cami for the 'health wishes'. {hugs}

I have several scrap projects that need done. I have ideas, it's just the time...I feel like I can't sit down long enough to move embellies around on my papers. lol I'm hoping to soon, even though I am going to start another painting project in my boys' room. I hope to have that done this weekend. Well, this entry will be short. I hope to be back with some fun layouts soon! {scrappy hugs}

Can you say...'Germ City'?!?

Thats what it feels like here. My daughter, Sydnee, was home monday thru wednesday with the flu. THEN today, my son woke up with a sick stomache. sigh...let me back up to last thurday...same son was home with the flu! Ok, so I have been on a germ fight. Lysol spray, lysol cleaner...inforcing the hand washing rule!!! uugghhh, I honestly don't think it makes a difference. I just hope I don't come down with anything....mom's just don't have time!

On another note, I've been trying to scrap some design team projects. After my first meeting at my lss I'm inspired to produce some 'wow' layouts. Well, a girl can dream....can't she??? lol I don't know if it's because spring is just around the corner but I am ready to re-organze my scrap space. I'm just not finding it functional and I want it to be visually pleasing since it's opened up to the rest of the house. I will include photos soon....hopefully before AND after!
